There are many misunderstandings about wind power and how it affects society, wildlife, and the environment. This lack of knowledge can lead to unnecessary negative opinion of wind power, and that new wind power projects are being vetoed.
But there is extensive research-based knowledge answering many questions and worries people have about wind power. By communicating this knowledge to the public and political decision makers in municipalities, the number of vetoes can be decreased.
The purpose is to increase knowledge about wind power among the public and political decision makers in municipalities and to decrease vetoes based on lack of knowledge or misunderstandings.
